PageDown
PageDown is Stack Overflow’s markdown library for the browser and node.js (doesn’t appear to be in npm yet). It is based on Showdown and WMD. It includes sanitization to prevent XSS attacks (very important to Stack Overflow). Should be useful for many different kinds of web apps!
